The Hamilton County District Attorney General's Office Cold Case Unit was notified today by Governor Bill Haslam's office that Governor Haslam has announced a $10,000 reward for information leading to the apprehension, arrest and conviction of the person or persons who committed the murders of Sean and Donnie Goetcheus in January 1997 in Chattanooga, Tennessee.

New information and investigative leads that are being followed up have focused on residents in Hamilton and Marion Counties. Anyone with information about the Goetcheus case is asked to contact the District Attorney General's Office Cold Case Unit at 423-209-7470 or at coldcases@hcdatn.org .

The Hamilton County District Attorney General's Office Cold Case Unit would like to thank Governor Haslam and his legal staff for their assistance in the process and the following agencies and individuals for their continuing support and investigative assistance in the Goetcheus investigation to include Chattanooga Police Department Chief Fred Fletcher, Hamilton County Sheriff Jim Hammond, District Attorney Mike Taylor of the 12th Judicial District, Tennessee Bureau of Investigation, Federal Bureau of Investigation and the DEA.
