CORDARRIUS JERONELL ARMOUR

Picture
It was just before 9 o'clock in the evening on April 5, 2011, when Cordarrius Armour stopped by the Okie Dokie Mart in the 1900 block of Roanoke Avenue.

As Armour exited the store, an unknown man approached him and fired a single bullet, striking Armour in the chest. He died a week before his 23rd birthday.

At the time, investigators recovered surveillance video from the store and distributed it to the media, hoping someone would recognize potential witnesses to the shooting. One eye witness, Reginald Maddox, told police Tyrone Carmichael was the shooter. That led to the indictment of Carmichael. But as the case neared trial Maddox refused to testify, claiming he was too drunk at the time of the murder to positively identify Carmichael as the killer.

Maddox wasn't the only person to witness what happened at the Okie Dokie Mart the night Armour died. We're hoping someone else will come forward to give us the information we need to bring Cordarrius Armour's killer to justice.
