In the first few days of July 2014, Steven Bell was preparing to celebrate. The 65-year disabled veteran was planning a big Independence Day party. When his family showed up July 3rd to help him get ready for the party, they found Bell's motorized wheelchair in front of the house. His front door was unlocked and the TV was on but there was no sign of Mr. Bell. His family called police to file a missing persons report.
Two days later, on Saturday, July 5th, Bell's body was found under a creek overpass along Workman Road. He'd been beaten to death.
Investigators believe someone kicked in Bell's backdoor, robbed him inside his home, and then kidnapped him. The killer(s) took Mr. Bell to an ATM and removed money from his bank account.
Mr. Bell's family and friends deserve to know who is responsible for killing him and we need your help to solve this homicide case.
