JOHNNY RAY CHADWICK

Picture
Johnny Chadwick, 33, was shot several times and left for dead inside his home. Another victim, 48-year old Thomas Heaton, was shot in the heart but survived.

The shooting happened Friday night, October 16, 2009, at 2305 Glass Street.

Police are no closer today to solving this case than they were back then. They can only describe the suspect as a black male wearing a hoodie. The man forced open Chadwick's front door and open fire.

Detectives believe drugs were involved and they suspect the surviving victim is too scared to tell them all he knows. But there may be more witnesses who haven't talked to police. A bar, T&B Lounge, was just a few doors down from the murder scene and the parking lot was filled with people at the time of the shooting.

There's a good chance someone in the parking lot that night has information that can help close this case.
