LEONARD COLLIER

Leonard Collier, 44, was killed the week before Christmas, on December 19, 1992.

Collier was last seen leaving his house to deliver Christmas gifts. When he didn't return home, his frantic family began searching for him and calling everyone they knew to ask for help finding him. They soon received a call from the St Elmo Recreation Center, telling them Collier was in his Ford Fairlane parked outside the building.

Family members found Collier slumped over the steering wheel of his car. He'd been beaten to death with a blunt object.

Detectives also say Collier had been robbed of $1,000.

Collier was the stepfather of NFL great Reggie White. White was raised in St Elmo by his mother and stepfather and remained close to both of them.

Police originally surmised Collier stopped to help what appeared to be a stranded motorist and became the random victim of a robber.

Years later, investigators revealed they had new information that led them to believe Collier's murder may be related to two other murders from the 1990's, that of Elvin Hodge, 60, and Warren Hill, 71.

All three victims were former employees of the same company.
