Barbara Gill

Picture
In November 2004, a Marion County, Tennessee couple walking their dog happened upon the body of 46-year old Barbara Gill.

The Georgia woman had last been seen alive, leaving the Cherokee Motel in Red Bank, several weeks prior on October 9th.

Gill and her husband, Mark, were from Georgia and had been staying at the motel while he worked a temporary construction job here.

Investigators believe the Gills argued the day she was last seen. Two days later, on October 11th, Mark Gill checked out of the Cherokee.

Around 10 days later, the motel manager contacted Barbara Gill's family to let them know her car was still on their parking lot.

All her personal items, including her purse, keys and clothing were inside the car.
