JERYL YVONNE HUDSON

Jeryl Yvonne Hudson was murdered early on Easter Sunday, April 4, 2010.

She and her friends had just left Mike's, a club on 11th Street. They were in a car at a stop sign when a white car with tinted windows pulled up in the next lane. As the car Jeryl was riding in turned right, someone in the other car opened fire, and shot the 55-year old grandmother in the head.

Investigators learned Jeryl Hudson was a regular at Mike's. There was a fight at the bar that night, but Hudson and her friends were not involved. Mike's employees told police Hudson and her friends kept to themselves and never had any problems.

In a Crime Stoppers interview with Channel 3 Eyewitness News, Jeryl's daughter, Cristy, said she was headed to church when she found out her mom had been murdered.  "Somebody knows what happened, I want them to come forward and tell us."

That's what investigators need to solve this case. A tip, a name, anything that might lead them to Jeryl Hudson's killer.
