BARBARA JOHNSON
At 4:15 on the morning of July 6, 2012, someone in the Orchard Knob community called 911 after hearing gunfire.
When police arrived, they found 43-year old Barbara Johnson dead on Rawlings Street. She'd been shot twice. Neighbors says she struggled with a crack cocaine addition but had been attending a transformation program following several prostitution and drug convictions. "She did her own thing," said Rhonda Vaughn, who lives a block away from the shooting scene. "She never took nothing from nobody. She was a good person."
