GINA MUIR
On November 20, 2004, skeletal remains were found near an alley at East Main and Mitchell Avenue on Chattanooga's Southside.
The bones were wrapped in a piece of carpet, hidden by a discarded recliner. The remains matched dental records for 37-year old Gina Muir. A blow to the head had killed her. Gina had been living at home with her mother after ending a long-term relationship. |
When her mom confronted her about suspected drug use, Gina left home. She was staying with friends when she could but was primarily living out of her car.
Gina was last seen in the Main Street area by an acquaintance in May of 2004. Her mother reported her missing the next month.
The Cold Case Unit wants to resolve this case and ensure justice for Gina.
