KAHLIL NURRIDEN & MICHAEL SCOTT
On April 21, 2002, Chattanooga police received two anonymous calls from pay phones, urging them to go to 2301 East 17th Street.
Upon arriving, officers discovered the bodies of 31-year old Michael Scott, the renter of the house, and 19-year old Kahlil Nurriden. Both men had been shot to death.
Police had made previous trips to the house on drug calls.
Neighbors suspect the victims knew their killer. They say 31-year old Michael Scott never let anyone inside the home other than family and close friends. There were no signs of forced entry.
