BRUCE E STRICKLAND

Bruce Strickland was found murdered on Sunday, May 1, 2005 after neighbors grew concerned about him. 

The 37-year old Strickland and his 5-year old daughter were inside their house on Milne Street but a neighbor who made lunch for the two couldn't get them to answer the door. 

Another neighbor repeatedly called but the phone went unanswered until early that night. When the child finally answered the phone she said her dad was in the living room with blood on his head.

Police entered the house and found Strickland had been shot in the head, execution style. 
Strickland was a graduate of Brainerd High School. He was employed by NuFoam on Amnicola Highway.
