In May 2021, the Hamilton County Grand Jury indicted Cordalro Strickland for Anthony White's murder.. This case had been unsolved for a decade, but with help from the Chattanooga Police Department and the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office, CCU investigators gathered the evidence needed to secure an indictment.
A shots fired call came in around 5:30 on the afternoon of May 12th, 2011.
When they arrived, police found the body of 28-year old Anthony White in an alley off the 800 block of Roanoke Avenue.
He'd been shot several times.
As police processed the crime scene, a crowd of nearly 100 people gathered behind the crime scene tape.
Chaos ensued when a fight broke out in the crowd.
Shell cases for several guns were found around White's body, indicating he was shot by several people.
