FRANCIS "SANDY" CROWNOVER

Picture
Missing since November 26, 1987
DOB: March 21, 1953

5'2", 105 lbs, strawberry blonde hair, hazel eyes

On December 04, 1987, deputies responded to a call from Joseph Duenas at 6421 Pythian Drive in Harrison. Once they arrived, Duenas told them Francis Crownover had been living with him for about a month. He said Crownover had a mental issue and he was trying to help her.

Duenas reported that on November 26, 1987, he and Crownover went to bed together around 11:00pm. He said he discovered her missing when he woke up the next morning.  Duenas told investigators he checked with Crownover's friends and none of them had any contact with her either.
Crownover reportedly left a note saying she would call.  She took $200 but left her car, clothes and most of her personal items at Duenas’ house.

Two days later, on November 28, 1987, Crownover called a friend from a convenience store. That's the last time anyone heard from her.
